Mrs Rajni Agarwal the founder of National Public School is an educationist in true sense. Her long & eventful journey in the field of education proves her a teacher & mentor par excellency.
After graduating from Bareilly college she moved to Agra to persue her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Institute of Social Science. But her true vocation was teaching so she chose to take Masters degree in English & Bachelor of Education from Agra University.
Mrs Rajni Agarwal
The Founder of School NPS
Armed with her degrees she took her baby step in 1970 & started teaching in Rajasthan Middle School Bharatpur, Rajasthan. She worked there for two years along the way got the opportunity to work in Girls School Dhaulpur run by Rajasthan Government.
In 1981 her career path took a turn & leaving behind the 10 years experience teaching in Hindi medium she started a new inning in English medium school. The first stop was siddhartha School, Ramgarh, Bihar. In the year 1982 she moved on to Kendriya Vidhalaya School, Ramgarh, Bihar. In 1984 again a positive change came in her professional life when she got an opportunity to work with the prestigious D.A.V. School, a chain of schools run by Arya Samaj New Delhi. She served till 1988 but again shifted to a new school Bal Vidhya Mandir in Ranchi, Bihar.
All these years step by step she reached to the post of senior teacher. But the last step of the ladder was to be achieved that was of principalship. The golden opportunity knocked at her door in 1990 when she was offered to lead a school as principal by DAV in Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh. Having served there for two years again she had to shift in 1993 to Tanda where she remained to uplift the status of the school under her charge till 2002. Her soul remained restless as she could not compromise with the strict & unnecessary rules & regulations of the DAV college Managing Committee, New Delhi & left the job in hand.
She took a breather for a short time but her dedication to expression of quality education to rural areas compelled her to start an English Medium School at a village in Tanda in 2003 naming it as National Public School.
So we can safely say that her tryst with Education still continues.....
